Writing the score for this short was a lot of fun. I have never really delved into this style of writing before. Nowadays certain types of films call for a familiar recognizable sound. It was a blast and I think the film turned out really well. Hope you enjoy!
There’s a nice mood to the piece, aided tremendously by a score that evokes both the Hans Zimmer and John Williams Superman themes at different times without violating copyright.- The Bitter Script Reader
“…its third-person ranged versus melee gameplay. The land of Nosgoth’s Humans utilise an arsenal of devastating ranged weaponry and specialised equipment, whereas its Vampires favour visceral close-up melee attacks augmented by their inhuman abilities. For both sides, strategy, communication and teamwork are key to success.”
For Nosgoth, I had an awesome time composing the music. This project allowed me to go back to the style of music that I created for Hunted Demon’s Forge. Barbaric, High Energy, and very Dark. Check out the trailer below and you’ll be able to hear some of what I created!
I’ve had the honor of creating a piece of music for a showcase video of an amazing sculpture by Jason Hite. Jason has become a friend and one of my favorite sculptors as of late. His view and interpretation of bio-mechanics is at a whole other level than what I’ve seen before. If you have never heard or have seen his work, I highly recommend heading to his site and taking a look NOW!
